It's a countdown to the next Disney adventure. This time we are headed out on another Disney Cruise. We get to experience the newest ship in the Disney fleet - Disney Dream - for a 3-day Bahamas itinerary. Yay! We are so excited.

We will start our newest adventure arriving on Wednesday morning so that we can attend the Welcome Home Wednesday meeting for DVC members (Disney Vacation Club). We missed it last time we were there and the 2-3 times before that our vacation dates didn't include a Wednesday. So this time I purposely scheduled our flights to arrive early enough so that we can check into the resort and head straight over to the meeting. The one and only meeting we've attended in the past was a blast!! Plus, we got free stuff! I love free stuff. I love free DISNEY stuff! Oh, and there's free drinks and snacks too. That's always well received. :)
We will stay overnight at the Animal Kingdom Lodge where we will meet up later in the afternoon/evening with my mother and sister. We leave the next morning checking-out as we board our Disney Cruise Line motor coach to transfer us to the port where we will finally get to embark on a wonderfully (yet short) magical cruise! I know it will be a good time but I fear that it'll go by so fast that we won't even know what hit us. Don't worry though, I will take TONS of pictures to remind us.
When we return to the US and transfer back to Disney World, we will check into our next resort accommodation: Wilderness Lodge. I am sooo looking forward to this. We will be staying here when everything has been turned from autumn, halloween frightfullness to magical, holiday delightfullness! My mom and sister have never been to the parks during the Christmas season nor have they ever stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. This will be a nice surprise for Alyssa and I'm excited to spend more than a day at the parks during this season - and to visit more than one park with all the glorious holiday decorations!
To further put us into the holiday spirit we have tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Marissa and I went to our very first Christmas party last year but got there late and didn't know how to take advantage of all there was to offer. This time we will know better, arrive earlier and help my mom and sister get all it's worth out of the occasion.
The other good news is that the weather in November is still somewhat warm enough to enjoy the pools and/or water parks that Disney has to offer. It helps too that they are all heated. It'll be nice to tour the parks without sweltering temperatures and high humidity! Looking forward to it and counting down the days... 70, 69, 68 to go!
